If you asked casual gamers who the greatest fighting game final boss of all-time is, the vast majority of people would say “M. Bison”. In fact, I’d venture to say that for a large portion of those people, M. Bison might be the only fighting game final boss they could name, period. M. Bison (“Balrog” in Japan) is about as iconic as fighting game villains not named “Akuma” come, and so it’s almost a little weird a new 1/4 M. Bison statue hasn’t been available in years. But the wait is over–the new PCS M. Bison Street Fighter Ultra statue goes up for order on Monday!

First4Figures has been making high-end video game statues and collectibles for over a decade now, and the various resin Sega and Nintendo statues I have from them are among my absolute favorite toys that I own. Given the almost nonexistent flow of news from Mattel about their Halo 6″ Figures Collector’s Series, I was sort of dreading the possibility of attending the New York Toy Fair 2017 this weekend and hearing that the 6″ Halo line was cancelled. But as it turns out, no news really is good news: a whole second wave of Mattel Halo figures debuted at the show, including The Arbiter, Buck, Vale, Atriox, an Imperial Grunt Build-A-Figure and more!

Legend of Zelda collectors got a huge surprise this evening when the very first unboxing video of the First 4 Figures Zelda Breath of the Wild Link PVC statue was posted! Although the statue isn’t scheduled to ship out until March 2017 (and can currently be pre-ordered from Best Buy’s website), IGN got an early review copy of the 10″ figure! And not only do we get our best look at Link yet, but the next two First4Figures Breath of the Wild statues are also seemingly revealed…

Immediately after the Nintendo Swith Presentation last week, First 4 Figures shocked the Nintendo collecting world by officially announcing that they were not only producing a Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Link statue, but that it would be a low-priced PVC figure that was already in final development and on the way! Fans of “The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword” had to wait close to half a decade for the very first high-end statue from that video game to be released by First 4 Figures (F4F): the incredible (and incredibly humongous) Link on Loftwing statue. Thankfully, it looks like F4F fans won’t have to wait nearly as long to get their hands on the first official “Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild” statue–following up Nintendo’s mega-ton press conference fully revealing the Nintendo Switch tonight, the First4Figures Breath of the Wild Link statue has now been revealed as well!
